For the last 3 years we have focused our "Share the Love" Christmas campaigns on the amazing organizations that are supporting those in need in our community, and while we are still committed to supporting those organizations now and throughout the year with financial support, this year we wanted to "Share the Love" with our community in a different way.
So... you are invited to "Nominate your Neighbour"!
To participate, send us an email at email@example.com (PLEASE don't comment publicly) with your stories and nominations of people in Quesnel who need a little extra support and help this Christmas.
Here is what we want to know:
First, we need the names of the people you are nominating and contact information for them.
Next we need to know what the specific need is, and what would help them the most. Is it money to buy their kids Christmas gifts? Is there another specific need? Please give us as much detail as possible(we won't share anything publicly).
Finally we would like you to briefly tell us why you want to nominate them! Why do you want to "Share the Love" with this person/family?
Send us your nominations (by sending an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or send a direct message on Facebook) BEFORE December 10th and help us out by sharing this post far and wide! We will do what we can to meet as many needs as possible.
We know that we likely won't be able to help with every need that comes in (as much as we would like to!) so if you would like to contribute to the "Share the Love" campaign as a HELPER, please private message us and we will let you know if there are opportunities to give in specific ways beyond what we are able to do at Regency.
We know there are many many people in need in our community and we would love to help rally our community to "Share the Love" with our neighbours and people around us!
Thank you for your support this year Quesnel! We have an amazing community and we are very grateful and proud to be a part of it!!

Getting from point A to point B isn't always simple, especially if you're representing a non-profit group. Non-profits are notorious for operating on shoestring budgets, and for many local charity organizations, travel simply isn't affordable.
We wanted to do something about that and now have a brand new, seven-seater Dodge Caravan available for the sole purpose of helping Quesnel non-profits, charities, sports teams and schools keep their travel expenses down and their annual budgets in check.
It's called the "Community Care-a-Van," and is a fitting nickname for the popular Dodge Caravan. The program will be launched officially (and befittingly) on February 14, 2012. The Care-A-Van will be made available exclusively for short-term loan to Quesnel charities, non-profit groups, schools and sports teams. Interested organizations may apply to borrow the Community Care-A-Van up to one week before date of departure.
Applications will be made available to the public beginning on Valentine's Day at Regency Chrysler, located in downtown Quesnel.
You are invited to a launch event between 11am-1pm on Tuesday February 14th at the Regency dealership (259 McLean St.). You can pick up information packages, have some Valentine’s treats and check out the Care-A-Van, and ask any questions you might have about the program.
Applicants must provide proof of non-profit/charity affiliation along with their applications, and schools or sports teams will also be considered. Drivers must be over the age of 21, provide a drivers abstract, and be an authorized volunteer or employee of the non-profit/charity. The Community Care-A-Van will be made available on a first come, first served basis to interested Quesnel charities. (All applications are subject to approval by Regency Chrysler management.)
We know that travel expenses can decimate the budgets of non-profit organizations. Hopefully this small gesture can help alleviate some of the financial stress that invariably comes with trying to coordinate charity-related group travel. The only expense that the charity itself will have to cover is the cost of gas used.
We are all really excited about this new program which we hope will benefit local non-profits for many years to come!
